MOVES

In researching recent topics in the fields of gender and diversity, MOVES intents to enhance equality on an individual, organisational, and on a societal level. Especially in the fields of information technology (IT), new media, equality strategies, and education MOVES carried and carries out several national and international research projects. Being a small private research organisation, it aims at creating multifaceted new options and innovative solutions. To gain insight into the valuable variety of different perspectives and to contribute to the deconstruction of stereotypes or detrimental norms, it is oriented towards resources and solutions and focusses on active participation in the research processes. MOVES further has expert knowledge in supporting research institutions – irrespective of the specific branch of science – in the inclusion of aspects of gender and diversity into their research projects. In 2016 it was awarded the Comenius EduMedia Seal for outstanding educational media in gender and IT.
