Music, Influence and Social Media
A group of teenagers came together in a north London community centre to look at issues in relation to music, social media and how such channels can influence their day to day life. The WYRED methodology allowed for the young people to identify themes and issues of interest to them through facilitated discussions and social dialogue. A series of robust engagements involving the young people led to the identification of the issues of stress and mental health arising from social media as the focus for their research project.
Objectives:
To understand complexity within the lives of young people in urban environments
