Bnater, memes and influencers

The Banter, memes and influencers project took place at the Brit School, UK, in July 2019. The process focused on the way young people interact through banter and memes and the ways in which these often good natured interactions can influence behaviour, and perceptions, postiviely and negatively. The outputs include a slide presentation the group made about the problem, and the video of that presentation when made to the class at the end of the WYRED process. There is also a video of the subsequent discussion and a viedo reflecting on the process. The work is to be presented to the local Member of Parliament and other schools, and the Local Education Authority, in a showcase event in early November 2019.

The participants were Elliott, Lisa, Amba, Mia and Shelby

Objectives:
To explore influences on young people online, especially through banter and memes
