Permission and Consent – Why?
These 10 year old children in Northern Ireland were interested in consent forms after some discussion during skype calls with the WYRED Turkish students. They hadn’t really given a lot of thought to this before and now realized the importance of knowing the content of consent forms before you would tick the box that you read and understood the terms and conditions. They had also discussed this area as a large group during the Social Dialogues with the rest of their peer group.
The children developed a questionnaire which they circulated to 40 of the year 7 pupils and designed a powerpoint presentation to share their results.
