Digital Activism, Rights and Getting Involved

Through this WYRED project, a group of 34 young people from an applied arts and media course developed new skills in relation to research and analysis. They were also keen to examine a range of digital tools that are used within the radio and broadcasting industry, with the aim of exploring how such tools can be used by young people to raise their voice on issues that matter to them.
Objectives:
to develop skills in research and analysis
to examine how young people can challenge stereotypes about their digital lives
